This week we read the story of the Peach Boy, Momotaro, or The Little Peachling, who was hatched out of a peach found near a river by an old man and woman. He grew up at an alarming rate, and embarked on a quest for justice, to battle the demons who had stollen from his village. Along his journey, he enlisted the help of a bird, monkey, and dog, who joined him as he traveled to Demon Island.
