Like many folktales, slavic myths emerged from the desire to find meaning in life's difficulties and to make sense of the harsh world surrounding them, including the ominous forests, the roaring seas, and the ongoing wars. Rich in dark myths and wild legends, Slavic folk tales depict a realm of sorcery and a land filled with superstition.



This week the kids acted out the tale of Baba Yaga and Vasilisa the Beautiful.
