Review and Reflect

This week was a culmination of our month-long journey delving into various fascinating topics, ranging from the intricate dynamics of Ecosystems to the essential knowledge of fire safety. As we reflected on our learning experiences, we enhanced our understanding by incorporating creative drawings in our books.

Looking ahead to the upcoming week, we are excited to transition our focus from The California Science Center to a new chapter centered around the captivating exhibits and wonders of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. This shift promises to open up a whole new world of exploration and discovery, where we will immerse ourselves in scientific discovery, uncovering the mysteries of the past and gaining a deeper appreciation for the natural world surrounding us.

We will not have class on Wednesday, October 16th, but are opening up that day as a chance for families to meet at The California Science Center to experience all that we have been learning (and then some), in real life! Families are encouraged to meet up at The California Science Center, on Wed the 16th at 11 am. Be looking for an email with more information! It is free to visit, however, there are a few exhibits that require tickets, including the special exhibition "LEONARDO DA VINCI: Inventor. Artist. Dreamer." as well as their IMAX movies.
